This is a story based on a man born in Karnataka in 1961 whose father was an employee of Indian Railways. His father died young & he use to sell fruits in trains. After that he earned some money & moved to Saudi Arabia. He came back to India after 7 years. He started his career in illegal activities like making fake passports & export manpower to Gulf countries.
The series is directed by Hansal Mehata after a superhit series SCAM 1992: The Harshad Mehata story in 2020. Scam 2003 will be released on 2nd septmber 2023 & it will be streaming on Sony Liv.
This Series will tell the story of Abdul Karim Telgi, a counterfeiter who printed fake stam paper. This scam was done in multiple states of India by him.
